Marie Clark has been a NCCPT certified Personal Trainer since 2014. She is also a ISSA Certified Nutritionist and Yoga Instructor and believes that all three of these certifications provide her with a well-rounded education for training athletes.

She specializes in Mountain Athletics and training for mountain-specific goals based on her experience with hiking, climbing, trail running, backpacking, glacier, ice and alpine climbing and she knows what it takes to succeed in the mountains.

Since October 2022 she has logged 100 miles and over 10,000 ft in elevation every month. The exception is the Month of October when she participates in the Max Vert challenge and logs 70-100K of vertical feet in over 100 miles.

Marie has been a mountain guide based out of Seattle, Washington and is now co-owner of Idaho Mountain Guides based in Boise, Idaho. The amount of time she spends in the mountains and surrounded by mountain athletes has helped inform her training style. She not only focuses on the physical fitness needs but also spends time understanding the nutritional impact of meals. She knows the importance of the mental game, and being mentally prepared for both the demand and often the risk mountain athletes encounter.
